More about the Nephrology Faculty Position:
- Direct the treatment of internal disorders.
- Analyze records, reports, test results, and examination information to diagnose the patient's medical condition.
- Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care, including diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of diseases.
- Monitor patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary.
- Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results.
- Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
- Prepare and deliver lectures and presentations on internal medicine to medical students and residents regarding training in various clinical settings, such as hospitals and outpatient clinics.
- Didactic lectures on topics of Nephrology or General Internal Medicine.
- MD, DO or MBBS
- Completion of, or in the process of completing a Nephrology Fellowship
- Board eligible or in the process of completing a Fellowship, in Nephrology
- Ability to obtain a TX Medical License
