We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient coverage, providing comprehensive endocrinology services in Winston-Salem and the surrounding areas.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide outpatient services at existing locations and through virtual health models.
- Participate in the inpatient glucose management team.
- Use medical decision-making skills to develop appropriate patient care plans.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure effective team-based care.
- Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures, explaining them to patients.
- Perform procedural skills as per department guidelines.
- Engage in basic science and clinical research projects.
- Precept students and/or medical learners.

- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Physician Assistant (PA) Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program; Master’s Degree preferred.
- Certified by NCCPA and licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a primary care or endocrinology environment.
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program; Master’s degree or higher required.
- Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner.
- Board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by AANP or ANCC.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a primary care or endocrinology environment.
