As an Medical Expert Reviewer you would be conducting Medical Judgement Appeal reviews remotely, which you would provide a written review addressing the dispute either agreeing to uphold the insurance companys decision or deciding in favor of the consumer by overturning all or part of the health plans decision.
Requirements:
- Provider must have a clear active Medical License
- Provider must be Board Certified in specialty requested
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within specialty
- Currently conduct Direct Patient Care at least 24 hours/week
Review Time:
Consultant must complete the written review within 7 calendar days
Consultant must complete the review of additional practitioner statements within 3 calendar days
Consultant must revise written work products within 3 calendar days
Consultant must propose at least 3 dates for panel conference; must reply within 48 hours of receiving a request
