DescriptionThe Senior Financial Accountant is responsible for verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling Deferred Revenue and Expense, Payroll and Commission accounts, producing error-free accounting reports and presenting their results, and analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status.
Key Responsibilities- Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Assisting with annual audit preparations.
- Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of noncompliance.
- Preparing federal, state, local, and special tax returns.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- CPA qualification would be preferential.
- 5 to 7 years of related experience.
- Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications
- Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis.
- Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, and business environments
- Organized
- Excellent reporting skills
- Detail oriented and efficient
