Pay Range - $16.98 - $17.50

$250 Sign-on bonus

Ensures the health and safety of all children. Assists teachers/caregivers to implement the classroom curriculum and daily routine in accordance with DCP policies and procedures. Focuses efforts on promoting school readiness and parent engagement. Work hours must be flexible with the ability to work at different sites with short notice.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

n- Maintains visual and auditory supervision of children at all times. Follows active supervision procedures.
n- Provides a welcoming environment for children and their family members.
n- Ensures that all classroom activities are developmentally appropriate and supportive of children's learning styles.
n- Assists the teaching staff with the implementation of daily curriculum.
n- Interacts with children at their level supporting learning opportunities and encouraging the development of problem solving skills.
n- Participates in family-style meals.
n- Shares in maintaining a clean, safe, healthy learning environment.
n- Responsible for daily visual checks of the classroom and playground environments to ensure safety. Corrects or reports unsafe conditions to teacher/caregiver.
n- Maintains confidentiality of children, families and co-workers.
n- Maintains professional boundaries in relationships with families and co-workers.
n- Supports teaching staff in all center activities.
n- Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education:
n
Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Attends all agency required training and maintains registry in MRTQ.
n
n- Must be able to pass background checks.
