  • Number of Beds: 4 rooms, 1 patient per room
  • Number of Staff: 22, consisting of RN’s and Techs
  • Type of Staff: Day Shift includes Director, manager, and minimum 3 staff members per room; Night Shift includes On-call team, 4 staff members on STEMI call
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1
  • Type of Equipment: all GE rooms
  • Documentation System: Meditech and MacLab
  • Call Requirements: Maximum 15 days call during critical periods
  • Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s): Cardiac Cath, Cerebella angiograms, stents, Balloons, ENT Lab, scrubbing
    Job Requirements
  • BLS, ACLS certification
  • Must have Neuro experience

  • Unit Information: CATH LAB TECH (746)
  • Awards/Recognition: Huddle calls daily, establishment of relationships with Director, staff, and patients is paramount; Gold seal of approval, well-run department, excellent Director
  • Dress Code: Surgical Scrubs (provided by unit)
