We are seeking a Data Analyst to provide expertise to a federal client in support of their mission critical systems in defense of our Homeland. This experienced Senior Data Analyst will take on responsibilities that are central to extracting valuable insights from data and enabling strategic initiatives.
This position offers a flexible hybrid/telecommute schedule. The onsite and telecommute arrangement is determined by the site team and may change based on government or operational needs. Candidates should reside within a commutable distance and be able to report onsite as required by the government customer.

• Lead the analysis of intricate datasets, extracting profound insights, and presenting actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Design and implement advanced data models, visualizations, and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine complex data requirements, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with business goals.
• Develop and maintain data processing pipelines, ETL workflows, and data integration solutions to support analytics initiatives.
• Perform comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that drive strategic decision-making.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts in data cleansing, transformation, and advanced analytical techniques.
• Stay current with emerging data analytics trends, techniques, and tools, and provide recommendations for implementing new technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement data quality standards and data governance practices.
• Translate complex business requirements into data-driven solutions and insights.
Minimum Requirements
TCS063, T3, Band 6
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• Due to agency and contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens with no dual citizenship.
• This contract supports systems that require 24x7x365 uptime. Candidates must be willing and able to meet recall requirements, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule.
• Telework: Candidates must reside within a commutable distance and be available to work onsite at the customer's discretion. This includes being on-site during the transition period. Must be based near Annapolis Junction, MD.
• 7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or related field.
• Experience in any or all of the following: SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI.
• This position requires a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
