Certification Details Certs REQ: ACLS, BLC, NIH required. Job Details Open to a later start date Position / Specialty: PCU RN Shift: Nights (1800-0630) 20 rooms/beds on unit. 1:5 ratios for all shifts. Years of experience REQ: 1.5 Exp OK First-timers accepted: Yes. Weekend REQ: None. Is on-call REQ? No. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float as needed. Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager. Locals accepted: Yes- no radius. RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days. Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. Job Requirements Must have active IL license in hand to apply. Unit Specific Information Special Requirements: Required Work Setting Experience: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry. Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams. Required Cardiovascular Case Skills/Experience: Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, TR Band. Required Gastrointestinal Case Skills/Experience: Feeding tube care and management. Required Genitourinary/Renal Case Skills/Experience: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure. Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. Required Medication Experience/Skills: Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, PCA, Procedural Sedation Administration, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips. Surgical drain experience required. Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy Management. Required Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac. Code blue/rapid response experience preferred. Cerner experience preferred.
