Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Required Skills & Experience: Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Required Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN). Required Certification & Licensure: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. BLS Certifications & Licenses: ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA RN t least 1 year experience circulating a heart room • Must be able to circulate other rooms • Nurse to Patient ratio – 1:1 • Monday – Friday 7am – 330pm; Heart rooms from 550am – 220pm when circulating in first room Possible schedules: 2 – 8-hours and 2 – 12-hour or 5 – 8-hours 7 – 12 days per month for on-call.
