Job Summary:
Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is seeking a compassionate and dedicated NA/CNA to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our senior clients as a floater. The position is within the healthcare/medical field and is located on Oahu.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Medication reminders
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the nursing supervisor.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare team members.
- Be available to work at varying times as assigned.
- Drive to different locations as required by the job.
- Perform a variety of tasks depending on the needs of the clients.
- Adapt quickly to changing schedules and responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Hawaii.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, while maintaining a full-time schedule.
- Compassionate and patient with strong communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong work ethic and dependability.
- Ability to adapt to different tasks and environments.
- Good communication skills.
