United Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel 1. General job duties. Types of procedures required. Ability to circulate all open chest cases, assist in lines (swan, a-line, etc.), TEE, labs, etc. Assists with anesthesia. 2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) EPIC charting, I- Stat, TEE, Warming/Cooling units 3. Required skills and minimum years of experience. Minimum 2 years CVOR experience 4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) ACLS (AHA only), BLS (AHA only), IN or compact RN license 5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) Call is required; approximately: weekday / night call once every 7-10 days, full weekend call every 5-6 weeks. 2 RNs for all chest cases, single circulating for vascular cases. 6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) Float to core side if needed - general, ortho/neuro. 7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
