Certification Details Required Certifications: BLS/ACLS Job Details Orientation twice monthly Duke Lifepoint Hospital 355 beds Home to the Frye Regional Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, Orthopedics, General & Vascular Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss, Women's Center, and Level 3 NICU 32 bed ED, 29 bed inpatient rehab, 15 bed surgical suite & imaging Frye South Campus comprises of an 81 bed adult Behavioral Health Hospital Job Requirements Minimum ADN education 4 years of experience Experience in step down level patients Understands charting and interventions as it relates to high reliability care Supports team efforts to continuous improvement Can identify early signs of a change in patient condition Experience with Cerner preferred Willingness to work as a team Excellent attendance Problem solver, not a finger pointer Upbeat and calm in difficult situations Willing to elevate issues as identified Schedule Information Shift: Nights, 1845-0715 Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekend Hours: alternating, (6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule) No on call requirements Will float to other inpatient units as appropriate for skill level Will float before core staff Willing to Preceptor Will be expected to cover most holidays No holidays off first contract Unit Specific Information Floor: IMCU Number of Beds: 12 Patient Ratios: 4:1 Equipment: bipap, chest tubes, high flow O2, trachs EH R: Cerner Supervisor: Director of IMCU/MICU Patient Population: Adult Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Sepsis, severe chronic pulmonary issues, complex diagnoses Additional Details Willing to Preceptor CRRT is a Plus Will be expected to cover most holidays No holidays off first contract Scrub Color: Currently your choice Unacceptable attire: Wear clothing that fits.
