Certification Details Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, EFM Intermediate (will accept advanced but not beginner) awhonn or ncc, NRP Job Details 13 week contract Will float to the high risk AP/PP unit to care for pregnant women who require hospitalization and postpartum women Could also be assigned to monitor patients that are high risk AP patients in the ICU/ED/tele units who require continuous or intermittent fetal monitoring There may be additional float units based on skill set and hospital needs When the floated to care for a patient who requires a higher level of care, traveler will not be the primary RN and are only there to perform OB assessments and fetal monitoring Patient Mix/Skill Requirements: Circulate C-Sections Patient Ratio: 1-2/3 L&D depends on acuity, phase of labor, 3-6 Women’s Health Unit depends on assignment/acuity 225 births per month 21 bed unit Charting System: EPIC and CPN First Time Travelers are Accepted Job Requirements 2 Years of Experience Required Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, EFM Intermediate (will accept advanced but not beginner) awhonn or ncc, NRP Schedule Information must work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays per unit needs please denote all RTO upon submission Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) Unit Specific Information Will float to the high risk AP/PP unit to care for pregnant women who require hospitalization and postpartum women Could also be assigned to monitor patients that are high risk AP patients in the ICU/ED/tele units who require continuous or intermittent fetal monitoring There may be additional float units based on skill set and hospital needs Patient Mix/Skill Requirements: Circulate C-Sections Patient Ratio: 1-2/3 L&D depends on acuity, phase of labor, 3-6 Women’s Health Unit depends on assignment/acuity 225 births per month 21 bed unit
