**Job Title: Packer**

**Job Description**

We are currently seeking Packers who will be responsible for packing product to fulfill orders, and other general duties, alongside others in an assembly style production facility. Duties include emptying bags of pretzels onto conveyers, catching finished products in branded containers, sealing bags for market, folding cardboard boxes, and stacking boxes onto skids.

The employee will be responsible for the following:

- Learn and be willing to do several different general duties around preparing product to be shipped to customers such as picking products, packing boxes, building skids, inspecting products

- Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines

- Be on time and ready to work

- Take direction from line leads on standards of practice

**Work Site**

This is a fully on-site position in Hanover, Pennsylvania.

**Work Environment**

Our facility makes hard pretzels and follows all good manufacturing processes and is SQF certified. The facility is very clean and climate controlled in most of the building, but temperatures can reach up to 140F near the oven, with normal temperatures ranging from 67F to 100F.

The culture is tight-knit as most employees have been here for long periods of time. Candidates will work closely on assembly lines with employees from different backgrounds and personalities. Dependability and a strong work ethic are valued.

Employees must adhere to strict dress codes due to close contact with food:

- No acrylic fingernails or nail polish

- No jewelry or piercings, including wedding rings

- No clothing with rips, holes, frays, or loose strings

- No glitter, rhinestones, or loose embroidery on clothing

- Shirt sleeves must cover all of the armpit

- Crew neck t-shirts must be worn

- Steel toe shoes must be worn

- Hairnets must be worn at all times

- No cellphones on the production floor, even if turned off

- No leggings; yoga style pants are allowed

All employees will receive a company-provided locker and lock, and are expected to leave their steel toe shoes in the locker to avoid transporting germs into the facility. Employees will receive three 20-minute paid breaks where they are unable to leave the premises but are allowed to smoke in the provided smoking facility. Visitors are not allowed.
