Job Requirements Common diagnoses/Types of patients: CAD, COPD, CHF, Sepsis, Trauma, STEMI, Stroke Experience or 'Must have' skills: Telemetry, Cardiac ED Physicians/Mid-Levels: 24hr ED Physician coverage, 30hrs APP coverage Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: ED charge & house supervisor Nurse Aids/Paramedics/Patient sitters: LNA & Paramedics Schedule Information Shifts & Scheduling: 12 hr shifts Weekend Requirement: Every other Holiday Requirement: vary Is there a call or standby requirement?: no Floating Requirements: no Unit Specific Information Do you have separate Psych/seclusion rooms? 4 bed, locked psychiatric area (included in the 28 beds) EMR: AllScripts RT Equipment: (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Does RT do ABG's, breathing tx, EGS's? All respiratory equipment. RT manage vents. ED RN provide neb treatments Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips?: All beds are monitored. RN’s read strips X-Ray or CT in the ER? Transport?: 24/7 Xray, CT, U/S, MRI Phlebotomy or nurse draw: both Scrub Color/Dress Code: NONE Unit/Department specific orientation: Day one with educator. 2 days with preceptor;7p-7a Additional Details beds/trauma bays: 28 total / 3 resuscitation bays Candidates with no Licensure or Background hits are only considered for this opening Do you have a separate Triage area & do you allow/require travelers to do Triage?: We do have a triage area.
