Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support required PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred for ER NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure required for specific units TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course is preferred Chemo Certification required for Hematology/Oncology Job Details Registered Nurse position in the CVPICU/CTICU units with a focus on post op cardiac surgical care, cardiology patients, complex congenital patients, acquired heart disease patients, heart transplantation, VAD's and ECMO. Patients can range from neonatal up to 23 years old. 30-37 bed unit with standard level nursing practice. Orientation information provided before Monday start. Job Requirements CA License in hand or pending with ETAs 2 years of CVPICU/CTICU experience Peds Cardiac experience - must be cardiac trained Heart transplant experience Willingness to float between units Experience in ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation Schedule Information Variable or straight night shifts available 3x12 shifts or 36x48 hours 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule Must be available to work 2 out of 3 holidays 13-week contract length Requested Time Off: 6 days total No RTO requests allowed during 12/22-12/28 Self-scheduling offered Unit Specific Information Unit guidelines/policies available for review Patients range up to 23 years of age Additional Details Professional Expectations Reminder Confidentiality Acknowledgements must be signed Meal Waiver Form requirements Orientation and badge documents needed on the first day
