    Certification Details
  • Required: AHA BLS, NRP, and WI or Compact RN License
  • Preferred: AHA PALS
    Job Details
  • Specialty: Neonatal
  • Registered Nurse in Neonatal unit
  • Responsible for caring for infants with various health problems
    Job Requirements
  • Must have Level 4 NICU experience
  • Minimum of 2 years NICU experience
  • PEDS experience preferred
  • Experience with CPAP, Trach, High flow, etc.
  • AHA BLS, NRP and WI or Compact RN License required
  • AHA PALS preferred
  • ADN Required Education
  • EPIC Charting/Equipment experience required
  • Ability to work hard, be resilient and manage change well
  • Proficiency in working with private rooms
    Schedule Information
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Guaranteed Hours per Week: 36
  • Shift Requirements: 12 HR nights; 7pm-7:30am
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday work required
  • No on-call or call-back requirements
    Unit Specific Information
  • Unit: Milwaukee NICU
  • Unit Details: 76-bed unit with all private rooms
  • Additional unit info: State-of-the-art facilities, cares for more than 750 infants annually
    Additional Details
  • Magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
  • Blackout dates: 11/28-12/1, 12/23-12/27, 12/30-1/2
  • Potential to float to critical care and peds unit
  • Expected to float in rotation with other staff
  • **Flu vaccine required. NO EXEMPTIONS**
  • Orientation during the first week may affect guaranteed hours
