Who you are:As a Certified Medical Assistant "float" for Catholic Medical Center, you are the first impression for our patients/families. Your empathy and compassion are evident as your care for our patients and you take pride in a job well done. You are a consummate team player and always available to make a difference in our patient's experience. This is a per diem, benefitted position. The clinic is open Monday - Friday. You will work 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with an hour off for lunch).What you'll do:•Chart Prep & Pre Loading of New Patient Charts:•Pre-visit planning: oEnsure all information is ready and available for provideroCheck Immunization Schedule and ascertain what is due during visit•Assists the care team with patient examinations and procedures.oImmunizations•Pediatric (from Infancy) and AdultoEar LavageoPOC TestingoOther duties as assigned•Work with Pharmacy on prescription authorizations and refills•Supplies: ordering, inventory, and stocking•Monthly Medication Room checks and equipment checksQualifications What you'll bring: •Graduate from an approved Medical Assistant Program. •CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) is highly preferred o If not certified, you have six (6) months upon hire to complete. •American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) is required •Comfortable giving immunizations to pediatrics (as early as infancy) •1+ years' experience as a MA in an outpatient setting is preferred o Knowledge of pediatric immunization scheduling is highly preferred Who we are: Catholic Medical Center ("CMC") is a nonprofit, regional health system committed to delivering the highest quality and most advanced healthcare to patients across New Hampshire.
