JOB SUMMARY:Under the direction of assigned department leadership, provides assistance to the patient care team with patient care and routine unit duties.Alerts RN/LPN/Physician regarding any change in patient condition or status.Delivers health care to patients during the admissions, procedure and discharge phase of care.Ensures proper care of technical equipment/accessories used in endoscopic procedures.Decontaminates equipment per policy guidelines.MINIMAL ACCEPTABLE JOB QUALIFICATIONSRegistration/Certification/Licensure:CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation) within 90 days from date in position.Completion of the SGNA online learner directed activity associate's program within 6 months of date in position.This is a one-time requirement which does not require renewal.Experience:Minimum of one year of patient care experience.Education:Minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED)
