  • Position Title (Specialty): Special Procedures Technologist
  • On-call (Y/N): Y
  • On-call requirements: 1 weekday/week; 1 weekend out of every 4 weekends. Follows department rotation and standards.
  • Hours Per Shift: 10
  • Shift Start Time: 0700
  • Performs diagnostic radiographic exams.
  • Utilizes PACS and EMR systems
  • Performs interventional procedures per protocol and established procedures.
  • Maintains appropriate IV and Contrast Competency
  • Follows established protocols and procedures for proper patient position, exposure control, and radiation protection.
  • Performs office duties as needed.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively with all involved in the patient care process.
  • Cleans and inspects departmental equipment
  • Cleans and stocks Imaging rooms.
    Job Requirements
  • Associate degree
  • Technical experience: 3 years
  • EP experience preferred; coronary and peripheral case experience such as CTO, carotid stenting, AAA, and complex peripheral intervention.
  • Structural experience preferred.
    Schedule Information
  • Shifts are 10 hours starting at 0700.
  • On-call requirements include 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend out of every 4 weekends.
