Wapiti Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Hospitalist with Emergency Room Backup coverage in Onamia, MN.

Position Details

• Locum, MD/DO, Hospitalist with ER backup to APP, and back up to emergency, inpatient ADS
• ER volume 10-25 patients a day
• 3-5 shifts a month.
• EMR is Medhost, EDIS and Centricity
• Trauma level IV.
• Hospitalist duties for inpatients and admissions at senior care geriatric psych facility.
• 18 inpatient beds (average census 8) with 10 bed senior behavioral health unit (2-3 Admissions per week).
• ER backup coverage/consultations to experienced team of PA's covering the ER. Occasional assistance in ER at peak volumes.
• Candidate Requirements:
  a. BC/BE: Yes they will accept case to case basis
  b. What boards are accepted? Non-Boarded, ABPS
  c. Residents: Yes may consider a R3 will need to present CV
  d. Life Certifications needed: ACLS or CALS+, ATLS, PALS preferred but not required,
