Marketing Intern Location: Pensacola, FL Reports to: Marketing Director Salary: $17 per hour Term: The internship's initial term will run from November 2024 through February 2025, with the possibility of an extension for the right candidate and workload status. About Crown Health Care Laundry Services: Founded in 1965, Crown Health Care Laundry Services, Inc. is an independent, full-service healthcare laundry processor and linen rental company headquartered in Pensacola, FL. We operate 15 facilities across six southeastern states, serving over 2,500 hospitals, surgery centers, clinics, and physician offices. Our team of over 1,700 employees processes approximately 225 million pounds of healthcare linen annually. We provide high-quality patient care products, exceptional service, and cost-effective linen management solutions. All of our facilities are four-fold certified by HLAC and TRSA, ensuring that our linens meet the highest standards of hygienic cleanliness. About the Marketing Office: Crown's Marketing Office is the central hub for all print, online, and media communications, supporting the company's growth across diverse markets. Established in 2020, the marketing department is currently a one-person team, providing a unique opportunity for you to make a real impact. As an intern, you will be directly involved in key projects and gain significant hands-on experience. Your work will help support 25 sales and service representatives in the field while contributing to overall company growth through innovative and strategic marketing initiatives. Responsibilities: Assist in the development of sales proposals. Conduct market research. Contribute to the development of Crown's EliteCare Linen Collection. Assist with marketing promotion development, tracking, and analytics. Write, format, and distribute email newsletters and marketing communications. Develop and schedule social media posts across multiple platforms. Design flyers and promotional materials. Edit photos and marketing visuals. Support planning and logistics for the annual sales meeting in January. Write and edit video scripts; assist in video production. Utilize AI tools for content generation and analysis. Perform clerical tasks such as copying, coordinating mailings, and responding to emails. Gain exposure to Salesforce and assist with data entry and tracking. Help other team members throughout the company as needed and perform other duties as assigned. What You Will Gain: Significant Responsibility: As part of a small marketing team, you'll be involved in a wide range of projects, taking on key tasks that will directly impact Crown's growth. Broad Skillset: You'll gain exposure to the entire marketing lifecycle-from concept to execution-allowing you to develop skills in content creation, campaign analysis, market research, and project management. Qualifications: Current university junior or senior studying Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or Graphic Design. Recent graduates wishing to gain experience are also invited to apply. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere, is a strong plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently. Knowledge of social media management and online marketing best practices. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Hours: Flexible schedule between the hours of 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. M-F, not to exceed 20 hours per week.
