**Job Summary:** The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and specifications. This role involves inspecting materials, components, and finished products to identify defects or deviations from specifications, and working closely with production teams to address quality issues.**Key Responsibilities:**+ Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products.+ Use precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify product dimensions and performance.+ Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into quality databases.+ Identify and report non-conformances, and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.+ Monitor and enforce quality control processes and procedures.+ Assist in the development and implementation of quality standards and inspection methods.+ Participate in internal audits and support external audits as required.+ Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.+ Provide training and support to production staff on quality control procedures and standards.**Qualifications:**+ High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in quality control preferred.+ Previous experience in quality inspection or a related field in manufacturing.+ Knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.+ Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.+ Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.+ Good communication and interpersonal skills.+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.+ Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.**Working Conditions:**+ Work is performed in a manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to noise, dust, and other industrial elements.+ May require standing for extended periods and lifting or moving heavy objects.+ Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.**About Aerotek:**We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
