The RN reports to the Charge Nurse, Department Director, and other supervisory staff, working closely with patients, physicians, and other clinicians to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes. An understanding of Samaritan Healthcare's mission, vision, values, and strategy is expected. The RN makes decisions based on sound judgment and understands the purpose and operation of Patient Care Services. Job Requirements Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Current Washington State RN Licensure required. Preferred experience as an acute care registered nurse, with a minimum of one year for specialty nursing departments. Ability to perform the primary functions of an RN in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
