We have an outstanding Contract position for a Packer to join a leading Company located in the Newington, NH surrounding area.
Package materials and products manually by performing the work/packaging instructions specified for each product or part. Visually verifies that parts and or finished products are in compliance with quality standards.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Efficiently/effectively gather packing materials that are correct to the bill of materials, verify serial numbers, complete the necessary paperwork, and operate barcode scanners.
- Wraps protective material around the product as required.
- Pack and process finished materials and move them to appropriate staging areas within the warehouse.
- Update the company operating system to perform movement of material, and any other functions required to perform job duties.
- Visually inspects materials, products, and containers at each step of the packaging process.
- Records information such as Serial Number, weight, time, and date packaged.
- Communicates any issues with the Packing Lead, and/or Supervisor in order to resolve the issue in a timely manner.
- Seek and act upon ways to improve daily work processes to enhance quality and productivity.
- Participate in 5S Workplace organizational activities and maintain the area in good working order through sustainment activities.
- Other duties as required.
Education and/or Experience: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
