Overview:

Provides technical support to the lab by receiving/processing requisitions/specimens and ordering specified lab tests according to standard operating procedures. Responds to phone requests and enters lab test data into computer. Perform a variety of technical and support functions in all lab departments under the direct supervision of a licensed MT or MLT.
Qualifications:

HS/GED required

Associates Degree preferred, with a minimum of 6 semester hours of chemistry and 6 semester hours of biology preferred

MLA certification from a nationally recognized credentialing agency (i.e. ASCP or AMT) preferred
