    Job Details
  • PCU RN (7 West)
  • 13 weeks
  • days 7a-7p
  • Options:
  • 3x12, self-scheduling, EOW
  • 3x12, block, Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon
  • 4x12, self-scheduling, EOW
  • 4x12 blocked, Fri-Mon or Sat-Tue
  • - Fast-paced work environment with an average of 5-10 discharges/admits daily
  • - Care for patients from outlying areas who seek specialty services
  • - Focus on acute and chronic management of heart failure patients presenting in crisis, acute cardiac events and illnesses, exacerbation of chronic cardiac disease.
  • - High acuity patients- IV medical management, hi-flow oxygen, impaired immobility due to venous congestion
  • - Manage patients post cardiac catheterization and/or cardioversion
  • Currently 1:5 ratios for PCU (goal is 1:4)
  • All travelers are expected to float as needed within acuity

    Additional Details
  • I9 or attestation required.
  • TIME SENSITIVE! Drivers License/State ID required within 48 hours of signing. Carilion confirms radius to the facility based on the address on the Drivers License/State ID. If candidate cannot provide a Drivers License/State ID with an address more than 100 miles away from their contracted facility, they will be canceled. Drivers license/state ID is required regardless of documents used on I-9.

  • Please require if candidate is working on a compact license
  • Required for Behavioral Health & ER Behavioral Health Annex.
  • Must be CPI Blue Card.
