We are seeking ABEM-certified physicians to provide emergency care across multiple Penn Highlands facilities. Experience a variety of settings from critical access hospitals to state-of-the-art trauma centers.

Schedule:

• Estimated Start Date: January 1, 2025
• Ongoing 6-12 month assignment
• Minimum of 5 shifts per month
• Various shift lengths and times depending on the facility

Practice Setting:

• Inpatient care in diverse settings: Level II Trauma Center and Critical Access Hospitals
• Facilities range from 25 to 360 beds
• Collaborative environment with multiple physicians and APPs on duty

Cases and Procedures:

• Emergency procedures including intubations, central lines, chest tubes
• Responsibilities may include running codes, stroke alerts, and rapid responses
• Patient ages range from neonates to geriatrics

Requirements:

• Must be ABEM certified
• Will wait for license
• Comfortable with a range of emergency procedures
