Tarkett has a great opportunity for a Material Handler (Hospitality)
Full Time 2nd Shift 3PM-11PM
Summary: Material Handler/LTO, will ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of our products utilizing equipment including, but not limited to sit down and stand-up forklifts, pole, pallet jacks, and radio frequency equipment.

• Lead all components of safety, health, and environmental programs to achieve and maintain zero incidents and injuries.
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to work in a close team environment, not only with his/her department but also with any other department.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Report unsafe activities to supervisor and/or manager and/or Human Resources.
• Promptly report all safety malfunctions on equipment
• Comply with OSHA standards
• Move product to storage areas with proper equipment
• Load and unload freight using equipment in an efficient and safe manner
• Efficiently stack and safely store the merchandise in the designated area
• This position will require flexible working hours, including overtime, and help cover shifts during vacation and call-offs.
• Drive and perform lift truck safety inspection checklist daily.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• 1 year experience preferred in any type of lift truck operation.
