Additional Assignment Details:
Radius rule: 75 miles
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week hours not guaranteed week of orientation facility will consider 48 GSA if traveler is open
Primary location: Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital - 417 W 3rd Ave, Albany, GA 31701
Shift Requirements: 0645-1915 EST
Float Requirements: Yes, to all acute care and cardio to take care of medical, or EC for acute care patient holds; mid-shift floats are uncommon (emergent needs only)
Weekend requirements: Rotate every other
Holidays: must work 2 out of 3 holidays
On call/Call Back: is rare
Break: 30 minutes
EMR: Meditech Expanse: experience preferred but not required (facility will train)
Education: Associates required; bachelors degree preferred
Required certs to be attached upon submittal: GA or compact RN license required, AHA BLS, and AHA NIHSS
Minimum experience: two solid years on a MS unit
Patient ratios: Ratios 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both days and nights
Nurse Aides- Yes, CNAs 1:8, generally 1:10, do get as sitters
Scrub requirement/Uniform: Caribbean blue or white
