Jabil in Florence, KY is experiencing growth to support the manufacturing and the increased production of servers. Apply now if you would like to join a growing team! We are seeking a Manufacturing Training Supervisor to work Weekend Days and Weekend Nights in our Florence, KY location.

How will you make an impact? As the Manufacturing Training Supervisor, you will lead and develop a team of Trainers to ensure excellence in technical skill development for Jabil CVG.

  • The hours are Thur/Fri-Sunday 6 am-6 pm and Thur/Fri-Sun 6 pm-6 am.

  • $1,000 Sign-On Bonus offered to external candidates who are not working for Jabil.

What will you do?

  • Lead a team of Trainers by recruiting, interviewing, and hiring employees for the Learning and Development Team.

  • Monitors training effectiveness via established evaluation techniques.

  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Establish clear, measurable goals and objectives for individual and team performance.

  • Drive continuous improvement in key operational metrics and organizational goals.

  • Organize verbal and written ideas clearly, using an appropriate business style.

  • Implement a Training development strategy aligned with L&D and plant strategic objectives.

  • Stay updated with new initiatives in training and education, such as e-learning.

  • Ensure effective orientation for all employees at Jabil.

  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

How will you get there?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Experience:

  • At least 1 year of leadership experience is required.

  • A minimum of 1 year of training experience is strongly preferred; or a passion for training OR other combination of education and work experience.

  • Training within the Manufacturing Industry is strongly preferred. 

  • Manufacturing Experience is required if no Training Experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience working with Microsoft Products is required (Word, Excel, and others)

  • Bilingual is a plus.
