    Job Details
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years; 3+ years of Tele if not SCREEN
  • Traveler Experience: 1st time traveler accepted if they have Cerner experience - screen 1st time traveler w/ no Cerner
  • Skills: Telemetry, Post op cath care, Cardiac drips with titration, Management of dysrhythmias, Interpretation of dysrhythmias
  • Certs: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, Cerner
  • Target Ratios: 1:4-5
  • Shift: 3 or 4x12 Nights 18:45-07:15
  • Call Requirement: None
  • Float Requirement: yes, all except M3; helping hands in ER
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
  • PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Stroke, CHF, A-fib, arrhythmias, cardiac caths/stents and med-surg
  • SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Vascular access support team available; Charge nurse
  • SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Sigma Spectrum IV pumps; Ceiling hoyer lift, portable hoyer lift, portable cardiac monitoring, defib x2 when transporting, EKG machine
  • UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Omnicell, Cerner
  • SCRUBS: Navy Blue
    Job Requirements
  • 2 years experience required, 3+ years for specific skills
  • 1st time traveler accepted with Cerner experience
  • No travelers within 50 miles of facility permitted
  • Skills required: Telemetry, Post-op cath care, Cardiac drips with titration, Management of dysrhythmias, Interpretation of dysrhythmias
  • Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, and must be familiar with Cerner
    Schedule Information
  • Shift: 3 or 4x12 Nights 18:45-07:15
  • No call requirement
  • Must float as needed, all except for M3 and possibly assist in ER
  • Must work every other weekend
    Unit Specific Information
  • Vascular access support team available
