Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionThe Manufacture Worker must be willing to perform work in a team environment - adhering to all attendance and safety rules, regulations & equipment requirements.Roles and Responsibilities: Basic Assembly and test electromechanical assemblies for turbine components including installation, adhesive bonding, drilling, tapping, torquing, lubricating, and wiringWork from engineering drawings, work instructions, and wiring diagramsAssemble, bend, form, braze, tape, stack Generator parts, assemblies and components on both New Build work and ServicesAssemble, fit, and connect a variety of Generator parts and componentsUtilize standard tooling to complete work tasksUtilize the proper chemicals; must be able to understand safety data and shelf-life informationFollow EHS compliance for turbine assembly and testPerform complete and accurate quality documentationAssist in implementation of documentation and process improvementsAssist in testing and minor inspections as neededMove material/product using cranes (Level 2) and other approved material movement equipment to perform work tasks such as fork trucksUnload and prepare parts/product for shipmentPerform Complex repair work. Provide on-the job training to other personnel as neededProvide on-the-job training to other personnel as needed. Complete other daily housekeeping functions including 5s and parts kitting. Assist in all aspects for Service and Repair workMust demonstrate the ability to follow policies and practices and improve Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost including, but not limited to: use of all required personal protective equipment, ensuring machine guards and safety features are working, identifying and reporting unsafe working conditions; attention to detail - identifying and reporting quality issues found through in-line checking and reporting of critical appearance defects for resolutionPhysical demands of the position include: Constant standing; frequently handling various parts for assembly; frequent walking, reaching at waist level, pushing/pulling, grasping/squeezing, pinching, fine motor dexterity, neck flexion, and using air tools; occasionally sitting, reaching overhead, reaching at shoulder level, reaching at knee and floor level, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, crawling, ladder/stair climbing, pivoting, twisting, neck extension/rotation, and using vibratory tools. The top rate for this position is $29.19 per hour. This position is also eligible for a Night Shift Bonus of $1.00/hour. All COLA and General Wage Increases are negotiated.
