Certification Details ARRT BLS State license Job Details A hospital on a beautiful island in Washington is in need of an Rad Tech to work a 13 week travel assignment. The nurse will be working primarily 12 hour nights but it would be a bonus if the RN was open to working an occasional day shift. Job Requirements All areas are must (X-ray, CT, Fluoro). May be on your own. At night you would cover CT and X-ray. Must be able to run a c-arm. Must be able to do fluoro. Must be comfortable working with portable equipment. Schedule Information 10 hour shifts. Start times are 7, 8, 10, 1300, 2100. Will allow blocked scheduling as long as the needs of the department are met. Unit Specific Information 2 X-ray rooms, 1 trauma room, 1 fluoro room, 2 portables, 4 c-arms Acute care, ICU, ER, OR, Dexa, fluoro, procedures, swallow studies, pain department; inpatient and outpatient Will lead the department during the day. Average of scans/studies per day: 70-100 Common types of imaging/studies performed: A lot fluoro, swallow studies, barium enemas Department Specific Equipment: C-arm is GE, portables are Shimadzu, fluoro is Siemens Meditech. DR merge but will be switching to Phillips. Weekend Requirements: Limited staff. Based on need. Holiday Requirements: On rotation - on call.
