Job Description
  • Coverage Need:
    • ASAP - Ongoing
    • Needing coverage for DAYS, NIGHTS
  • Clinical Information:
    • Open ICU
      • Need confident physicians with CC management in an open ICU - codes, vents, lines is a MUST
      • Need CC capability on all candidates - Vent management, central + arterial lines, Codes (all members respond to - patient's primary hospitalist is the lead responder), additional procedures is a plus
    • 100 bed community hospital
    • Avg. daily census: 16-18
      • Total team census 55-65 (includes ICU)
      • Census + admission ( round robin )
    • # of admits: 2-3
    • APP support: Likely
    • 3 Day MD providers + 1 Nocturnist
    • 1 Swing
    • 2 Nocturnist
    • Onsite Specialties available? Gen surg, Ortho, cards and additional sub specialties (Pulm, nephro, podiatry, GI)
    • Site has strong Cardiology / Surgery / Ortho
    • No GI / ID available.
    • Practice administrator on site
  • EMR:
    • Paragon
  • Required:
    • Must have an active OH license and OH DEA
    • Must be avail for 5+ shifts/mo
    • Must be able to do procedures and run codes - Required
    • Must have CC experience and have access to procedural logs of 5 intubations and one central line in the past year
    • Must be Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
    • Must have Clean background and malpractice
