Overview Excellent Primary Care Opportunity in Prescott, AZ (90 minutes from downtown Phoenix, AZ)
Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Group is seeking a full-time outpatient Primary Care Physician to join our established and growing practice in Prescott, AZ.
Under direction from the CMO, the candidate provides patient care in an outpatient setting by diagnosing and treating disorders and diseases, performing patient exams, ordering or conducting diagnostic testing, and developing ongoing treatment and disease-management plans. In this role, the candidate will also prescribe medication and coordinate referrals as necessary, conduct early-detection screenings and maintain accurate patient records and charts. Effective communication with patients, physicians, staff, and administration is crucial.

Responsibilities - Patient population - 18+; Geriatric
- Work shift: 4 x 10-hour days
- Provider will have 4 hours of administrative time per week
- Daily patient volume: 22-24 patients per day
- EMR: Cerner
- Procedures - Suturing, cyst removal, wound care, EKG's,etc. Will vary by experience.
- Call: On call up to 4 times per month and the days of the week vary, including weekend call. Weekends are 24 hr call and weekdays are 5-8am on-call
- No Shift call- just after hours on-call
- This is a panel position and provider will be expected to see new patients, acute visits, annual wellness, ER follow ups, etc.
Qualifications - Completion of an ACGME approved Internal or Family Medicine residency program
- Current Board Certification or Board Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine
- Valid state medical license or eligibility to obtain state license as an MD or DO
- Valid DEA certificate
- New graduates considered
Pay Range$118.63 - $137.82 /hour
