Jackson + Coker has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide locum tenens coverage in Brooklyn, New York.

Position Highlights:
Location: Two facilities in Brooklyn, NY
In-person only, no telehealth option available
Start date: Immediate availability preferred
Contract Length: Initial 3-month contract, with potential for extension

Schedule:
Approximately 21 hours per week
One day per week with a 12:00PM - 8:00PM shift (flexible on which day)
Additional days with a 9:00AM - 5:00PM schedule

Patient Population:
Ages 5 and up, covering a wide range of diagnoses
Primarily adults, with some pediatric cases
Candidates must be willing to prescribe Suboxone (certification available if needed)

Responsibilities:
Provide care through both evaluations and follow-ups (45-minute evaluations, 20-30 minute follow-ups for adults)
Clinical supervision of NPs and participation in our PROS program
Sign treatment plans and manage patient care
EMR System: Netsmart, MyEvolv
Credentialing timeline: Fast-track process, approximately 2 weeks
Certification requirements: enrollment in NY Medicaid/Medicare is required
