Position: Locum Tenens Internal Medicine (MD/DO)

We are seeking an Internal Medicine physician to join our Hospitalist team. This physician will provide comprehensive cross-coverage admissions to all patients referred to the service.

Assignment Details:

• Coverage Reason: Open provider slots
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 1-year assignment
• Shift Information: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, night shifts.
  
• Patient Load: 126 adult acute beds, staffed by 2 Physicians and 2 APPs.
  
• EMR System: EPIC
• Support Staff: Respiratory Therapists, on-site Intensivists, and 24-hour on-call consultants

Requirements:

• Board Certification Required: Yes (Internal Medicine)
• Life Safety Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
• Procedures Required: None
• Experience Level: 1-3 years or more preferred

• Ability to work in a team environment handling acute care patients.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records, specifically EPIC.
• Strong communication and collaboration with support staff.
