If so, please read on!The Material Handler II will receive and supply raw materials and dressings as production needs required, pick orders, load/unload trucks, ship orders, and receive items with a fork truck.Essential Job DutiesDrive powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices to move materials and/or accurately pick/stack customer orders or receive vendor orders.Manually load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, or lifting devices, follow stacking patterns to ensure safety and customer quality is achieved.Maintain accurate inventory and inventory transactions. Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor.Utilize hand-held scanner data collection system to maintain inventory accuracy and traceability.Must be able to achieve and maintain certification to operate industrial powered equipment appropriate for this position.Maintains clean work area and participates in housekeeping throughout the facility and grounds.Must be able to frequently work overtime and weekends as necessary.Qualifications High school diploma/GED Strongly preferredComfortable working in a cool, refrigerated environmentForklift experience preferredDetail orientated, self motivated and capable of working with little supervisionKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesMust be detail orientated and must maintain accurate documentation.Must have strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to express ideas effectively and efficiently.Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently with little supervision.Ability to multi-task, working in a fast-paced environment.Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the company with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.ABOUT LITEHOUSE FOODSThe Hawkins family started selling their homemade dressings out of the family's restaurant in Hope, ID over 50 years ago.
