Please review the responsibilities and needed qualifications below and apply today!nnThis job will potentially have overnights during the week.nnOperations Monday thru Friday only, home every weekend!nnResponsibilitiesnn- - Deliver and distribute finished doors to assigned customers.nn- - Ensure safe loading, handling, and transportation and delivery of undamaged door units and/or related product.nn- - Drive truck to destination applying commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle in difficult situations.nn- - Complete necessary paperwork and relay any customer questions or complaints to supervisor.nn- - Inspect for any defects or problems that might arise before and after trips and submit reports indicating truck condition.nn- - Maintain vehicle in safe operating condition including service with fuel, oil, and water.nn- - Maintain applicable logs and records according to DOT regulations, Record of Duty Status (RODS).nn- - Assist associates in loading and unloading trucks or building loads as needed.nn- - Secure cargo for transit.nn- - Maintain a clean truck.nn- - Maintain good housekeeping in work area.nn- - Drive a light vehicle, such as a small truck or van, with a capacity of less than 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), primarily to deliver or pick up merchandise or to deliver packages.nn- - May load and unload vehicle.nn- - Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.nn- - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.nnQualificationsnnBasic Qualifications: HS Diploma, GED or two (2) years equivalent work experience. Must have a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) and possess the ability to safely operate transportation equipment (i.e., tractor/trailer combinations). Two (2) years truck driving experience required. Must have working knowledge of DOT regulations and meet BC driver qualifications. Performs duties in all weather conditions.nnPreferred Qualifications: Flatbed experience preferred.
