Responsibilities:
n
n- nTransport residents to/from medical facilities and/or other activities as needed in a safe manner.n
n- nAccountable for resident’s care while away from the facility.n
n- nIdentify and report any condition requiring management or clinical attention during the transport.n
n- nAmbulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.n
n- nMonitor and record resident’s vital signs as needed during transport.n
n- nAssist during downtime at the nursing home with nursing assistant or other duties as assigned.n

Requirements:
n
n- nCurrent state driver's license in good standing. n
n- nNursing Assistant Certification from state. n
n- nMust be at least 25 years of age due to insurance constraints. n
n- nMust have an acceptable driving record, verified by the Department of Motor Vehicles.n
n- nMust successfully complete an Employee Driver Proficiency in a timely manner.n
n- nAbility to record information and perform technical procedures.n
n- nGood communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience.n
n- nMust qualify for company insurance, pass DMV check and practice safe defensive driving skills. nn
