Job Description: Performs routine patient care, support and services in accordance with the legal scope of practice and within established standards of care, policies, and procedures. Integrates education, technical competence and patient interaction skills to gain confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers. Exercises sound judgment, and developed clinical skills to support the patient's plan of care based on the diagnosis in a timely manner. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety to help deliver optimal patient care.
• Provide appropriate, direct patient care to patients within established departmental time frames.
• Perform selected procedures, including but limited to: taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations and blood pressure), collecting specimens, admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
• Provide basic patient care relating to nutrition, elimination, hygiene, and mobility.
Requirements:
- CA CNA Licensure
- BLS (AHA)
- 1 year of experience
Shift: 5 x 8 days 1400 - 2230 and 2200 - 0630. every other weekend required; no on call
