Position Purpose
Responsible for handling shipping and receiving activities in the manufacturing plant, including preparing all necessary paperwork such as customs documents and operating material handling equipment to fulfill orders and receive shipped orders.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities includes all but not limited to:
•Reviews shipping orders. Locates product in warehouse.
•Loads/unloads material onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand.
•Prepares inventory for shipment. Properly bands and shrink wraps pallets and attaches shipping labels.
•Processes shipping orders using computerized shipping system.
•Loads and unloads trucks.
•Maintains warehouse inventory on racks in a neat and orderly manner.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
Work Environment

• Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes. Ability to make repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting.
• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of products manufactured or warehoused at that plant. Ability to use the required personal protective equipment at all times.
