Job Description:The Material Handler is responsible for providing tool parts and materials for the repair technicians to process tools. Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide the tool parts and materials for the repair techniciansRemove and deliver recycle material to the proper locationRemove finished products and transport to staging area for shippingReport low quantity of parts dailyEnsure that Repair tools are distributed to the tech workbenches in a timely mannerPractice 5S and SafetyVerify parts delivering match with parts on order sheet for techsAble to react to change effectively and handle other assignments, including working other shifts as needed.Physical DemandsStanding for long periods of timeRepetitive motionMust be able to lift 30 poundsFrequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling of parts and containersAble to work in various temperature conditionsEducation and Experience RequirementsRequires education equivalent to four years of high schoolPossess communication, reading/writingBasic computer skills requiredPhysical and Weight Lifting DemandsThe physical and weight lifting demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
