Our expectations
Working with your manager and various business partners, you will maintain an optimal level of inventory for the product categories and stores under your responsibility.
Your role
- Ensure the optimal supply of products according to the needs of stores and distribution centers, using the various tools and software at its dispos
- Follow up on orders (regular, promotional and marketing) directly with suppliers, ensuring that all commercial conditions appearing on the purchase order are respected
- Ensure the replenishment of products taking into account the reception, storage and rotation capacities of each of the distribution centers and stores
- Ensure the maintenance of the replenishment parameters within the various systems made available
- Communicate supplier delivery delays to internal customers; inform the stakeholders concerned, if necessary, when an intervention is required
- Contribute to the achievement of stock position, inventory budgets, service rate and store/distribution center turnover objectives for all products under his responsibility by maintaining close monitoring of these key performance indicators
- Evaluate supplier service and delivery time performance for stores; notify relevant stakeholders when action is required
- Perform other related duties
The qualifications we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in operations management or a related field
- 2 to 5 years’ related experience, preferably in operations management or supply chain
- Proficiency with computer tools such as MS Excel and databases
- Certification APICS, Six Sigma or other (an asset)
- Good knowledge of JDA (an asset)
- Analytical skills
- Well-developped business acumen and sense of urgency
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
- Good judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Familiarity with the retail industry and/or distribution (an asset)
