Job Description Position: Infrastructure Developer
Duration: Full Time, Perm
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and deploy systems for hosting Halogen’s Cloud Management System and solutions.
Integrate with key SaaS infrastructure components and development components.
Interface with other key Halogen teams pertaining to internal and external solutions.
Develop in the SaaS Platform team at Halogen using:
Spring Framework / Java – Code base.
Big Data Infrastructure – Spark / Hadoop.
Expanded report base and reporting framework.
Desired Skills and Experience:
We expect that the successful candidate will:
Have a Degree/diploma in Computer Science or equivalent with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience developing web-based applications with Java/J2EE.
Have knowledge of shell scripting (BASH) and Unix operating systems.
Have demonstrated experience with:
JBoss and Jetty
Databases – particularly Oracle and PostgreSQL
STS/Eclipse or similar IDE
Ideally have knowledge of JQuery, Spark / Hadoop, and Nagios plugins / deployments
