Job Description
The ideal candidate will be able to build high-performance and maintainable mobile apps that provide an optimal user experience on iOS and Android devices. A thorough knowledge of the MVVM pattern and UI design with XAML is essential. Saguenay (Québec) or Home Office (Canada or Worldwide) Apply
Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications using Xamarin or .NET MAUI.
Collaborate with UI/UX design teams to transform mockups into functional and attractive user interfaces using XAML.
Apply the MVVM pattern to separate business logic from the user interface, promoting cleaner and more maintainable code.
Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
Manage the full application lifecycle, from design to delivery and support.
Work closely with the product and QA teams to define specifications and identify potential bugs.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile development.
Required Qualifications
A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Several years of experience in mobile app development.
A portfolio of developed mobile apps, preferably available on app stores.
Experience working in an agile method.
Required Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Xamarin or .NET MAUI.
Significant programming experience with C#.
In-depth understanding of the MVVM pattern.
Experience designing user interfaces with XAML.
Good understanding of REST APIs and network communication protocols.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
Knowledge of mobile databases and data persistence.
Ability to diagnose and resolve performance and memory issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to solve complex problems creatively and effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and passion for quality.
Ability to adapt quickly to changes in technology and environment.
