Food Service Cashier / Server

A large local healthcare facility in Bozeman, MT, is looking for Food Service Cashiers / Servers to add to their Nutritional Services department. This organization prioritizes the overall patient experience and nutritional services are a big aspect of that. 

The Food Service Cashier / Server will perform a variety of food service duties in the preparation and service of customer meals in the cafeteria setting including operating cash register, assisting in the preparation and service of meals, dishwashing, and cleaning and stocking of inventory and supply.  The position is largely responsible for customer satisfaction and accurate cash handling.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Perform cash handling procedures
• Prepare, stock, and serve snacks, desserts and other grab-and-go items
• Set up and tears down cafeteria meal stations for each meal service and keep condiments stocked
• Provide allergy information and explanations of ingredients and preparation methods
• Assist with food preparation
• Clear, clean, and sanitize tables and work stations
• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other containers and return to appropriate location
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations to ensure quality food service
• Exercise tact, discretion, sensitivity, and maintain confidentiality

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• ServSafe Certification
• Prior work experience in retail sales or food service cashiering preferred
