Description Duties/Responsibilities: - Dust, sweeps, mops, scrubs, vacuums and clean assigned areas
- Empties wastebaskets and ashtrays
- Stocks and maintains housekeeping store rooms
- Transports trash and dirty linens to designated areas
- Takes care of company laundry and distribution
- Sweeps pathways, parking lots and other areas as requested
- Restocks paper supplies, chemical supplies in bottles, and maintains washroom supplies
- Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies as needed
- Assists in minor maintenance in public areas and reports problems requiring further attention to supervisors
- Routinely inspects work areas, identifying potential problems or repairs
- Assure exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times
Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: - Team oriented.
- Excellent guest service skills
Education and Experience: - Must have a friendly, outgoing and congenial personality.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- At least 4-6 months previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment: - Work is normally performed in a typical casino work environment
- Noise level is moderate to high
- Moderate to high exposure to cigarette smoke
- Moderate physical effort required
- Must be able to walk, stoop, bend, reach and stretch for extended periods of time. Ability to perform light lifting, up to 50 lbs.
