This opportunity will be 32 hour work week opportunity, working from Monday through Thursday 7:30am - 4pm! About This Opportunity: CareATC is currently looking for a Medical Assistant to work collaboratively with the staff provider within theLG&E-KU Energy AOC Occupational Health Office. In an effort to provide exceptional patient/client satisfaction, the Medical Assistant will assist in daily front desk activities, perform Drug/Alcohol testing, and will assist the provider with patient visits. The role of the Medical Assistant: Clerical responsibilities, appointment scheduling, office call/fax handlingGreet and Room patientsPerforms DOT and non-DOT physicals, urine drug screen collection, Breath Alcohol testing, and assists/follows up with PFT, EKG, and Audiograms as neededExhibit good clinical judgement within the scope of the role with or without the provider presentFollow all clinical and clerical protocols per company policyOur structure is a win for: The Patient- little or no cost for excellent medical care nor dispensed medication The Staff- consistent schedule allowing for work life balance, no on-call schedule or holiday schedules.
